About Me/Contact

I'm an avid reader based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.  I'm passionate about writing, burlesque, needlecraft and BOOKS.  I work at a pre-school by day and write contemporary romantic fiction under the penname Katey Lovell by night.  You can find out more about my writing here.

Whilst I've loved reading all my life (except when I was pregnant and couldn't focus on reading at all!), it was whilst recovering from an operation in 2013 that I decided to start the Books with Bunny blog.  I mostly read contemporary and YA fiction.

BOOKS WITH BUNNY CLOSED ON AUGUST 2nd 2017.

  4. Hello, Bunny! I found you on Twitter while searching for book bloggers. I have a new novel coming out January 21. It's a cozy mystery called WHO KILLED 'TOM JONES'?, about the murder of a Tom Jones impersonator. Kindle ARC's are available if you are interested in reviewing it.

It was great fun stopping by your lovely blog. Jane Eyre and I Capture the Castle are two of my favorite books, too!

    All kindness,

    Gale Martin

  6. Hello, Kate! I would like to offer my novel, "Life, Love, and a Polar Bear Tattoo", for your review. The book is a free ebook and in the five years it's been out it's been downloaded more than 380,000 times!

When Candice's in-laws died in a car accident eight months ago, she lost her husband Ian too. After only two years of marriage their guilt and pain have left them living together but apart. During Ian's month-long trip overseas, Candice plans to decide if her marriage can be saved, but when the first man she ever loved is the new client at work, she wonders what she truly wants from life and love.

  7. Kate, Hello

I admire your work ethic. Any one of your jobs seems to be a full-time job.

I have a book I would like for you to read. In short, here are the pertinent details. Title: Cold Tears, Author: AR Simmons, Genre: mystery/suspense (missing child), Setting: Contemporary Missouri Ozarks, Amazon link:http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F45FJZW (or)
    myBook.to/B00F45FJZW (Twitter only)

    Little blurb:
A woman as deep in despair as a person can be. Is it unbearable grief or unbearable guilt?

A child is missing, a baby taken away in the middle of the night. It’s a life-shattering tragedy, but no one seems to care. Is it because the grieving mother is a “lowlife druggie,” as the chief investigator maintains? Or is there another reason the case is given short shrift by the “good people” of James Mill?

I can send a mobi file

    Regards, AR Simmons

  9. Dear Katey,

Kitty Hawk and the Curse of the Yukon Gold is the thrilling first installment in a new young adult series of adventure mystery stories by Iain Reading. This first book of the Kitty Hawk Flying Detective Agency Series introduces Kitty Hawk, an intrepid teenage pilot with her own De Havilland Beaver seaplane and a nose for mystery and intrigue. A cross between Amelia Earhart, Nancy Drew and Pippi Longstocking, Kitty is a quirky young heroine with boundless curiosity and a knack for getting herself into all kinds of precarious situations.

After leaving her home in the western Canadian fishing village of Tofino to spend the summer in Alaska studying humpback whales, Kitty finds herself caught up in an unforgettable adventure involving stolen gold, devious criminals, ghostly shipwrecks, and bone-chilling curses. Kitty's adventure begins with the lingering mystery of a sunken ship called the Clara Nevada. As the plot continues to unfold, this spirited story will have readers anxiously following every twist and turn as they are swept along through the history of the Klondike Gold Rush to a suspenseful final climatic chase across the rugged terrain of Canada's Yukon.

Kitty Hawk and the Curse of the Yukon Gold is a perfect book to fire the imagination of readers of all ages. Filled with fascinating and highly Google-able locations and history this book will inspire anyone to learn and experience more for themselves. There are currently 4 books in the Kitty Hawk Flying Detective Agency Series, with a 5th to be released soon. Each book can be read as a standalone.

Kitty Hawk and the Curse of the Yukon Gold is available on Amazon: http://amzn.com/B00AGY6WWK

Would you like to review Kitty Hawk and the Curse of the Yukon Gold, publish an excerpt, host a giveaway (up to 6 winners), or interview Iain Reading? Let me know if you would like a complimentary copy of the book (paperback or ebook), have any questions, or need additional information.

    Regards,
    Kelsey
